Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm. Check-out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
  • This home has 3 exterior cameras: #1 is at the bottom of the deck at the back of the house monitoring an access point, #2 is by the garage door monitoring the driveway, #3 is under the bottom deck near the basement entrance pointing away from the home. No other cameras are present at the property, and no camera is observing a gathering/private area.

Policies and Rules

  • This home is not pet friendly. No pets allowed.
  • No smoking allowed inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
  • All visitors on premises must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
  • The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are welcome to attend; however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.

Fees and Payments

  • All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the facilities and features in the development.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests; however, there is an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled with a 15+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 8-14 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of their reservation payments. Bookings canceled within 7 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • Free parking is available onsite.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

  • While staying at The Refuge, you have access to most amenities inside Eagles Nest. Amenities available to you include:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course
    • 24/7 Dollar General concept store
    • North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail
    • Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary)
    • Fire Pit
    • Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
    • Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!)
    • Vineyard: Food and Wine served
  • All linens and towels provided for your stay.
  • All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals.
  • There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Hair dryers are provided. Towels and linens will be provided.
  • Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
  • This home has 3 exterior cameras for security (see Property Access section for locations).
